Our Story
How did we get here?
CJ & HB met fortuitously in South Korea at a conference in 2015. Fast forward a few years and they reconnected internationally falling madly in love with each other and their shared hobbies!
Growing up in large households, finding good deals and creating opportunities for all were everyday necessities. Together, they used this mindset, started traveling the world, building their vision (and future treehouse), and learning ways they could share this information to enrich others’ lives. Life of Thrift is the result of those experiences and ways we’ve learned to make any or no budget work.
We believe that luxury is a mindset and choice that most can achieve earlier than they think. Our goal is to discover how to maximize your experiences on a budget while finding meaningful ways to live a luxurious life; without the price tag!
